I am by no means a competitive eater, but I once ate a really big hamburger, fries (they're in the hamburger), and a beverage in a relatively short period of time. I broke the record at the now defunct Jerry's in Provo, Utah and held if for nearly a year -- until some schmoe beat me by like 3 seconds...
