Behold, O my God, their costly apparel, and their ringlets, and their bracelets, and their ornaments of gold, and all their precious things which they are ornamented with; and behold, their hearts are set upon them, and yet they cry unto thee and say—We thank thee, O God, for we are a chosen people unto thee, while others shall perish.

This is a great post. This Sunday, our Sunday School teacher played a song about Jesus from some contemporary Mormon recording artist and then read us a book about the Ten Virgins, complete with illustrations.
The lesson was on Abinadi, but you could have fooled me.
Mormonopoly is just silly... I agree with that, though probably for different reasons.
I see nothing wrong with a gold CTR ring as long as it's worn in the right spirit and for the right purpose.
I don't know much about John Bytheway because I've never actually heard anything by him, but from what I do know it would seem that if he is engaged in priestcraft for selling his CD's, aren't Sherry Dew and the prophets and apostles also engaged in priestcraft for selling their books?
.
What would the right spirit and purpose be that couldn't be met by the three-dollar version of the ring?
